I am very overweight, but would
like to have liposuction to get me started on a healthier lifestyle. Can
Liposuction is not a cure for obesity. It is like targeting the affects of dieting to a specific area of the body that is genetically predisposed not to respond to diet and exercise. The average amount of fat removed during liposuction is only about 3-6 pounds. The best candidates for liposuction are within 30 pounds of their ideal body weight. Our physicians recommend that prospective patients try to get into that weight range before seriously considering liposuction. ( BACK TO TOP)

on patients with chronic illnesses such as autoimmune diseases, Diabetes
