Dr. Catherine Pisano is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. Dr. Pisano specializes in skin cancer diagnosis, treatment, and reconstruction, offering patients the highest level of precision and care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Louisiana State University before obtaining her Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Pisano then completed an Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by a Dermatology Residency at Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin. She pursued advanced fellowship training in Cutaneous Oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School, and further specialized in Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology through a fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
As a double board-certified physician in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Pisano is an expert in early skin cancer detection, precise tumor removal, and advanced reconstructive techniques to optimize both medical and cosmetic outcomes.
