Kathy L. Anderson, DO, FAOCD, is a board-certified dermatologist with more than 30 years of experience providing comprehensive dermatologic care. Throughout her career, Dr. Anderson has combined extensive clinical expertise with a commitment to personalized, patient-centered care, helping patients address their individual skin concerns while supporting their long-term skin health.

Dr. Anderson earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Northeastern University, graduating summa cum laude, before receiving her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internal medicine internship followed by a dermatology residency and has been board certified by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology since 1997.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Anderson has cared for patients in private practice and multidisciplinary dermatology settings, with experience spanning both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She has served as a dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon with Academic Alliance in Dermatology and Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery and spent more than 14 years leading her own private dermatology practice in Clearwater, Florida. More recently, her work has included research and development involving skincare products and medical devices.

Dr. Anderson brings extensive training and experience in laser and light-based dermatologic treatments. Her specialty training includes the use of cutaneous lasers for vascular and pigmented lesions, tattoo treatment, and carbon dioxide laser skin resurfacing for wrinkles and facial scarring. She has also been involved in the research and development of Intense Pulsed Light technology and has extensive experience using IPL for medical and cosmetic skin rejuvenation.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Anderson is passionate about medical education and has held clinical teaching appointments throughout her career. She currently serves as a Clinical Instructor for third- and fourth-year medical students at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and previously taught family practice residents through the University of South Florida Medical School and internal medicine residents at Berkshire Medical Center.

Dr. Anderson is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic Association. With decades of experience in dermatology, cosmetic procedures, medical education, and research, she brings a comprehensive perspective to patient care and is dedicated to helping each patient feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their dermatologic journey.
