Maria Petkova NP-C is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Maria completed her Bachelors of Science (BS) in Nutrition and Dietetics, Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Simmons College in Boston, MA. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors with an emphasis on Family Medicine. Maria worked on various Women’s Health research studies while at the Harvard School of Public Health. She has also helped develop and manage cutaneous and non-cutaneous oncology clinical trials while at the Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research. Maria has a nursing background working in oncology and pediatric intensive care. She is an Advanced Nurse Injector for cosmetics and a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA) and the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners (SDNP). In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with her husband and new baby boy.
