Dr. Molly Chartier provides comprehensive care for a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin infections, warts, and skin cancer. Dr. Chartier also performs skin cancer screenings, skin biopsies, and other in-office dermatologic procedures. She sees patients at our Portsmouth and Exeter, New Hampshire offices and is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care to help every patient achieve healthy skin.

A Connecticut native, Dr. Chartier attended the University of Virginia as a Jefferson Scholar, where she was named the Dow Outstanding Junior Chemical Engineer. She graduated summa cum laude from the University’s honors engineering program with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a minor in biology.

Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Chartier spent three years with Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Companies developing skin care products. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her internship at UConn.

Dr. Chartier continued her postgraduate training with a Wound Healing Fellowship at Boston University Medical Center at Roger Williams Medical Center before completing her dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship through the Roger Williams/Boston University program. During her residency, she received the Excellence in Scholarly Activities Award and served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Chartier has published research in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and has lectured at regional hospitals. She is committed to providing compassionate, personalized dermatology care for patients of all ages throughout the Seacoast region.
