Molly B. Chartier, M.D.
Dr. Molly Chartier is a native of Connecticut. She attended the University of Virginia as a Jefferson Scholar where she was named the Dow Outstanding Junior Chemical Engineer and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the honors engineering program with a major in chemical engineering and a minor in biology. After her undergraduate education, she worked for three years with Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Companies, developing skin care products. Dr. Chartier then attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her medical internship year at UConn as well. She began her dermatology training with a one year Wound Healing Fellowship Program of Boston University Medical Center at Roger Williams Medical Center. Dr. Chartier also completed her dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at the Roger Williams/BU program. In her residency she was given the “Excellence in Scholarly Activities” award and served as a chief resident during her final year. Dr. Chartier has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and has lectured at local hospitals. She has focused her career on general dermatology and dermatologic surgery for patients of all ages.
